Large pub set beside an isolated part of the old River Irwell cut off when the Manchester Ship Canal was built. It has a conservatory and small patio area at the back overlooking the water, also there is a large beer garden to the side. The inside is split up with the Vault having a dart board and TV for showing sporting events. This is a community pub that sells food throughout the day but also caters for those who just want a realxing pint.
