Union Tavern105 Liverpool Street
A first-rate example of a traditional Victorian Salford street-corner local, this pub is one of the last survivors of its kind. Extended into the adjoining property many decades ago, but otherwise almost unchanged. Not so, the local area; all traces of housing has been slowly replaced by light industry. The pub comprises a lounge to the left and a vault, plus a pool room at the rear, all served from a central bar.
