Star Inn2 Back Hope Street
See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
UK's first urban pub cooperative to be owned and run by its customers and is now a brew pub. Although in a small back street the pub looks like a Devon country inn. Inside it's no less welcoming. A tiny bar vault gives onto a lounge with attractive bay windows. A back room is mainly used as an over-spill, which happens often since the takeover by locals in 2009. Won Salford CAMRA branch ‘Neil Richardson’ award for a fine example of a traditional unspoilt pub in 2009.
