Welcome to the website of Salford & District Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale.
CAMRA is the pub-goers champion, we promote quality beers in great pubs and defend the rights of the drinker. If you drink beer or like pubs, CAMRA and the pubs of Salford are the places for you!
We cover the area of Salford Metropolitan Borough and the whole of the City of Salford lies within this Branch area, from Higher Broughton to Cadishead, and from Salford Quays to Little Hulton.
A map of the area covered by the new Salford branch and a list of real ale pubs and clubs within, can be found under the 'Pub Guide' heading on the left.
If you wish to confirm which Branch of the Campaign covers any specific pub or club anywhere - go to our 'Whatpub' site from the link on the lower left. Here you will find full details of (nearly) all pubs and clubs in Britain and Northern Ireland, whether or not they sell real ale, and including the name of the relevant local CAMRA Branch.

Nominations for the Good Beer Guide
We know that sometimes it is difficult for some people to attend the weekly socials and meetings due to other commitments. In recognition of this, we are trialling nomination of pubs by email for the Good Beer Guide entries for Salford & District branch.
If you would like to nominate a pub to be considered for one of our entries, please send an email to our Pubs Officer, Robert Chafer ku.gro.armac.droflas@buptahw(). Please ensure that you include your CAMRA membership number and details of why you think the pub should be considered. All nomination emails must be received by 28 January. Nominations will be considered for the shortlist at a meeting on 30 January (please see branch diary for details).
