Bus to the Brewery, Cask Ale Week 2016

Bus to the Pub/Brewery tour 2016

Please that that due to Logistical issues we are unable to run the Bus to the Pub in 2016.
We hope to be back next year and will post further detail's as soon as we have them

Details below are for the last event in 2015

Is it a brewery tour, meet-the-brewer day or Bus to the Pub? Well, it’s all three, actually. To mark this year’s Cask Ale Week, organised by Cask Marque and supported by CAMRA, we’re offering an hourly bus service linking three of the four breweries in Salford. It's on SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 26th, and the buses leave Stevenson Square, in central Manchester, at 12 noon, then hourly until mid-evening. There are also departures from Eccles, by the Lamb, at 11:30, 12:30 and 13:30. The fare is £5.00 (£4.50 to CAMRA members and concessions), pay on the bus.

We will be calling every hour at Seven Bro7hers and First Chop, then up to the revamped Star Inn Community Brewery. We cross into inner Manchester to visit Holt's brewery tap and the Marble Arch pub, pausing on the way at Blackjack's busy brewing archway.

You can stop off at any, or all, of these for an hour to pick up our next bus. Each stop will be different; at many, the brewer will be on hand for questions (and compliments), several will be providing a BBQ, and at least one will resemble a small pop concert. The cost of your real ale is not included!

Note: We had intended stopping at Hydes' Beer Studio Brewery but unfortunately this is no longer possible.

You can join the bus anywhere on its route – other convenient stops are listed.
