Pub of the year 2019

On Wednesday 12 June we presented the Pub of the year award for 2019 to Lamb Hotel, Eccles.

The pub, which was built by Joseph Holt's brewery in 1906 is listed by English Heritage and the CAMRA inventory of historic pub interiors.

Club of the year 2019

On Wednesday 29 May we presented the Club of the year award for 2019 to Royal British Legion

Cider pub of the year 2019

On Wednesday 8 May we presented Paulette and Tim of The New Oxford with the branch Cider Pub of the Year award for 2019.

Club of the year 2018

On Wednesday 9 May we presented Ken Bailey (Steward), Mike Kearns (Secretary) and James E Cropper (Bar staff) of The Royal British Legion, Boothstown, with our Club of the year award for 2018.

The Royal British Legion, which opened in 1947, has been turned around from nearly being closed ten years ago, to a welcoming, cosy club with various rooms, two snooker tables, dart boards, a lovely outside area and even a gin bar!

The club hosts a beer festival on the weekend following remembrance Sunday.

25 years in the Good Beer Guide Award

On November 23, Salford Members attended the Presentation of a special Award to the Lamb Hotel in Eccles to commerate the pub being in the GBG for 25 consecutive years. Our Photo shows Salford Branch Chair Martin Parkinson presenting the award to Andrea.
